Founded in January 2014, Zero8Hundred emerged from a collaboration of over 100 leaders in San Diego County, addressing the unique challenges faced by post 9/11 military servicemembers and their families. By becoming a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit in January 2019, Zero8Hundred has successfully linked more than 4,500 transitioning servicemembers and their spouses to vital community resources and opportunities.
Zero8Hundred empowers transitioning service members and their families, with 71% of participants securing employment and 83% gaining clarity about their future through personalized support from Peer Navigators.
