Founded in December 2012 by Chuck Embs and Tim Hunnicutt in Dewitt, Michigan, Zero Day was established to address the pressing issue of homelessness among Veterans in the Lansing area. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these heroes, the organization quickly mobilized to provide tailored resources and support. Within just a month, Zero Day began recruiting Veterans for various construction projects, laying the groundwork for a brighter future.
Since its inception, Zero Day has successfully completed 312 community revitalization projects, empowering over 85 Veterans to earn certifications and secure rewarding careers.
