About YWCA Quad Cities

For over a century, YWCA Quad Cities has been a beacon of hope and support for thousands in need. Established in 1917, the organization began with a mission to provide essential services and programs for women and families in the community. From its humble beginnings on the 4th floor of the Central Bank and Trust Building, YWCA Quad Cities has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community while remaining steadfast in its commitment to empowerment and support.

Impacting Lives Daily

YWCA Quad Cities is dedicated to making substantial changes in the lives of individuals every day. Currently, the organization serves 100 youth daily, 65 seniors weekly, and provides an average of $2,500 in crisis funding each month. Additionally, 225 meals are served daily, and 35 clients receive support at the Iowa Empowerment Center.
