Our Story
Founded in 1978 by a dedicated group of volunteers, the Yuma Community Food Bank was established to combat hunger among children in Yuma County. Over the past 45 years, this organization has evolved from a small initiative into a vital institution, providing emergency and supplemental food programs that include educational and nutritional components for families in need.
Impact
Every dollar donated generates over 11 meals for hungry families. The Yuma Community Food Bank distributes 55,000 meals daily, feeding 20,000 individuals each month and providing 8 million pounds of food annually.
