Founded in 2010, YouthRoots is dedicated to bringing together diverse youth groups in the Denver metro area. Through participatory grantmaking, young people learn about nonprofits, fundraising, leadership, and teamwork. In response to the global pandemic, innovative programs like The GIV Fellowship and The YouthScan Project were launched to elevate the voices of historically disenfranchised communities.
