Founded in October 1972, the Youth Service Bureau of Porter County began its mission with a single office in Valparaiso, driven by the vision of the Porter County Chapter of the League of Women Voters. Over the past 47 years, this agency has expanded to three locations, serving between 4,000 to 5,000 families annually. The focus remains on empowering families and youth through a strength-based approach, helping them recognize their potential and build a brighter future.
