Founded in 2009 by Charlie & Chris Pope and Varoujan 'Pops' Karentz, YSF Community Sailing Vero Beach is dedicated to offering free sailing instruction to children in Indian River County. This not-for-profit organization has transformed into a vibrant community sailing club, welcoming adults, families, and individuals with special needs. With a fleet of over sixty sailboats and ten safety boats, YSF is committed to making sailing an adventure for everyone.

YSF Community Sailing Vero Beach has empowered approximately 300 children through free sailing lessons, instilling confidence, discipline, and leadership skills. The organization prioritizes inclusivity, ensuring that all community members, including those with special needs, can experience the joy of sailing.
