Our Story

Founded in March 2005 by Robert Goodrum, Youth Outreach Urban Resources and Services (YOURS) was established to address the needs of youth, particularly those in low-income public housing in Norfolk, Virginia. Through partnerships with local high schools, churches, and agencies, YOURS offers mentoring, tutoring, leadership development, spiritual awareness, and recreational activities. The organization has also expanded its reach to surrounding cities in Hampton Roads and even to Nigeria, fostering a global community of support.
