Founded in 1986 by guidance counselor Ann Young, Youth On Their Own (YOTO) began as a response to the struggles faced by homeless students. Initially starting with a group residence for girls, YOTO has evolved into a vital nonprofit organization that has supported over 20,000 youth in Pima County. Through community support and grants, YOTO provides essential financial assistance and resources to help students graduate high school.
