Our Story

Founded in 1970 by passionate local arts advocates, Youth in Arts emerged in response to the declining resources for arts education in California schools. Over the decades, this nonprofit has positively impacted over a million students across the North San Francisco Bay Area, providing essential arts programs that cater to preschoolers through college students. As the only consistent provider of arts for special education students in Marin, Youth in Arts has been a beacon of creativity and inclusion.
