Youth Go

Our Story

Founded in 1969 by passionate youth and supportive adults, Youth Go began in the basement of Shirley Lopas's home in Neenah, Wisconsin. Recognizing the need for a safe gathering place for teenagers, Shirley's initiative quickly became a success, attracting numerous youth seeking a supervised environment. As the demand grew, a committee was formed, and Youth Go transitioned to the basement of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. In 1993, the organization secured its current location on the border of Neenah and Menasha, where it continues to thrive.

Our Impact

Youth Go provides a healthy and safe environment for teens in grades 5 through 12, offering no-cost recreational, educational, and social events. The center invites all youth from Neenah, Menasha, and surrounding areas to drop in and engage in constructive activities.
