Our Story

In 1987, Joe Cavanaugh was inspired by a student named Diane, who shared her experiences of unkindness at school. This pivotal moment led to the creation of Youth Frontiers, an organization dedicated to fostering school communities where every individual is treated with dignity and respect.

Youth Frontiers conducts transformative retreats that inspire students to embrace character and cultivate community. The positive effects of these retreats can be seen even 10 to 15 years later.
