Our Story

Founded in the 1950s, Youth Exploring Adventure Inc. has been a cornerstone of recreational and educational opportunities for the youth of Anchorage. Originally established as Hilltop Youth, the organization has evolved significantly, introducing a rope tow in 1962 and expanding its facilities with a chairlift and snowmaking system. Today, Youth Exploring Adventure Inc. continues to oversee Hilltop operations, fostering a love for outdoor activities among local families.
