Our Story
Founded in 2004 by juvenile justice advocates, the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) is the first juvenile reentry program for formerly incarcerated children in Louisiana. Over the years, YEP has evolved into a comprehensive nonprofit serving a diverse range of young people and their families across Greater New Orleans.

YEP engages underserved youth through community-based education, mentoring, and employment readiness programs, helping them develop essential skills and strengthen their ties to family and community.
