The Youth Development Institute (YDI) was established in Arizona in 1996 as a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing rehabilitation and treatment services for youth and their families. YDI focuses on creating developmental, educational, and economic opportunities for disadvantaged and troubled youth, guiding them towards becoming responsible and successful adults.
YDI offers intensive and specialized treatment for youth referred by the Arizona Juvenile Courts and other state agencies. With a locked 84-bed residential program and group homes, YDI prepares youth for independent living while providing essential educational opportunities.
