Our Story

Since 1991, Youth Alive has been dedicated to helping violently wounded individuals heal themselves and their communities. With a frontline staff comprised of individuals from the neighborhoods they serve, they bring invaluable understanding and knowledge to their mission.

Impact

Youth Alive has made a significant impact in Oakland, with 85% of Teens on Target students actively discouraging gun violence among peers. Their crisis responders reach 98% of families affected by homicide, providing essential support during critical times.
