Our Story

Founded in 1866, YW Boston is the first YWCA in the nation, established by thirty visionary women dedicated to supporting the welfare of young women. Over 150 years, YW Boston has led the charge in advancing equity, focusing on eliminating racism and empowering women through various initiatives and programs.
