Our Story
Founded in 1898, the Young Women's Christian Association Allentown has a proud history of addressing the immediate needs of the community. With a focus on eliminating racism and empowering women, YWCA Allentown has evolved to support marginalized individuals, particularly women and girls of color. The organization has played a pivotal role in advocating for women's rights and social justice throughout history, including during significant events like women's suffrage and World War II.
