Empowering Youth Voices in Rhode Island

Founded in 2006, Young Voices addresses the urgent need for authentic youth representation in policymaking across Rhode Island. By transforming over 750 BIPOC youth into confident leaders, the organization ensures that young people have a seat at the table in decisions that affect their lives. Through innovative leadership training, Young Voices equips youth to combat systems of oppression, advocate for racial justice, and promote educational equity.

Making a Lasting Impact

Every year, more than 180 youth participate in programs designed to cultivate influential advocates and effective leaders. With an impressive 84% of alumni graduating college within six years, Young Voices significantly outpaces the national average for low-income, first-generation college students.
