Our Story

Over one hundred and seventeen years ago, a dedicated group of individuals recognized the need for guidance among boys and young men in Wenatchee. This vision led to the establishment of the Young Men's Christian Association, a beacon of hope and direction for youth. Throughout its rich history, the Wenatchee Valley YMCA has adapted its programs to meet the evolving needs of the community, enduring through two world wars, the Great Depression, and various social challenges. The YMCA's commitment to fostering Christian character and community engagement has remained steadfast, inspiring generations to dream big and work towards fulfilling those dreams.
