Founded in 1887 by community leaders in Appleton, the YMCA of the Fox Cities was established to combat the growing influence of saloons and promote a healthier lifestyle. Over the years, it has evolved to serve a diverse population, now boasting over 46,000 members and impacting nearly 69,000 individuals through various programs.
