Our Story

The YMCA of Greater Hartford has been a cornerstone of community service since 1852, dedicated to nurturing the potential of youth, families, and individuals. With a focus on core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, the YMCA enriches lives across the region.

Impact

Currently, the YMCA serves over 111,000 individuals across 52 communities, including 66,500 children and youth through its 11 branches and camps. The organization also welcomes youth and families from Connecticut and beyond at its Resident Camps.
