Our Story
Founded in 1854, the YMCA of East Tennessee is dedicated to building a better community for all. Every day, the Y supports individuals and families through programs that connect, teach, protect, heal, nourish, and encourage.
Impact
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Y serves over 230,000 people annually. With generous donations, the Y provides safe housing for over 250 homeless youth, delivers 115,000 healthy meals to school-age children, and offers more than $9.5 million in financial assistance to ensure everyone can thrive.
