Founded in 1995 by former First Lady of Tennessee Andrea Conte, You Have The Power brings together individuals affected by violent crime. The organization focuses on prevention, information dissemination, and policy advocacy through the lens of survivors. YHTP produces documentaries and resource guides addressing critical issues such as child sexual abuse and human trafficking, while also providing community safety training for caregivers, educators, and the public.
