Our Story

In 2007, a dedicated group of York Suburban residents recognized the need to support the educational success of all students within the district. They reached out to various school districts and education foundations to learn how to establish a robust education foundation. By March 2008, the York Suburban School Board unanimously endorsed the creation of the York Suburban Education Foundation. Since its inception in 2008, YSEF has been committed to enhancing educational opportunities and supporting families in need.

Impact

The York Suburban Education Foundation has made a significant impact by awarding over $542,000 in grants, distributing more than 48,000 pounds of food annually, and empowering 2,903 students through various initiatives.
