Our Story

YELLOW HOUSE exists to support single mothers in Memphis, born from a desire to help one mom facing overwhelming challenges. Inspired by the journey of this single mother, Michael Baier and the team at BELIEVING CHURCH envisioned a solution: quality affordable housing. After years of fundraising and refining their vision, the first YELLOW HOUSE was established through a generous donation from the Junior League of Memphis. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a mission to provide stability and support for single moms and their families.
