Our Story
Founded in 2014, Yazda emerged as a response to the genocide against the Yazidi community and other minorities in Iraq. This global community-led institution works tirelessly to protect and advocate for the rights of religious and ethnic minorities, including Assyrians, Chaldeans, Kakais, Shabaks, and Yazidis, particularly in regions like Dohuk, Sinjar, and the Nineveh Plains.
