Rockwern Academy
EIN: 31-0603959 · Cincinnati, OH
Our Story
Founded in 1952, Rockwern Academy, originally known as Yavneh Day School, has been a cornerstone of Jewish education in the Cincinnati area. This community Jewish day school embraces a pluralistic ideology, welcoming all Jewish families, regardless of affiliation. In 1978, the school relocated to its current site at 8401 Montgomery Road, thanks to a generous donation from one of its founders, Sol Richmond. In 2008, the school was renamed Rockwern Academy following a significant endowment from The Rockwern Charitable Foundation, which supports arts, education, and humanitarian causes within the Jewish community.
Impact
Your generous contributions, alongside support from The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati and The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, empower our dedicated faculty and staff to deliver an exceptional secular and Jewish education to our students.
Why Donate?
At Rockwern Academy, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating each child. The school relies on the generosity of families, alumni, and community stakeholders to provide the necessary resources for continued excellence. Every donation, whether large or small, plays a crucial role in enriching the educational experience for our students.
