Yates Mill Associates is a dedicated non-profit organization established in 1989 by local history enthusiasts. The mission is to restore, preserve, and operate Yates Mill, a historic gristmill located in Wake County, North Carolina. Through a public/private partnership with North Carolina State University and Wake County Parks, YMA has developed the surrounding area into Historic Yates Mill County Park.
