Our Story

Founded in 2010 by Jolene, Yah Yah Girls Inc. emerged from the urgent need to address childhood hunger in Charlotte County. Many young children were going without food on weekends, impacting their ability to learn and thrive. The Back Pack Kidz program was established to ensure that no child goes hungry.

Impact

Every weekend during the school year, Yah Yah Girls provides 1200 to 1500 bags of nutritious food to the neediest elementary and middle school children in the area.
