About Xia-Gibbs Society
The Xia-Gibbs Society was founded to honor the journey of those affected by Xia-Gibbs Syndrome, a rare genetic condition first identified in 2013. The organization was inspired by the story of Molly, a brave young girl diagnosed at just 18 months old. Her great uncle, Dr. Richard Gibbs, and his team at Baylor College of Medicine discovered this syndrome, which remains largely unknown to many. Families like Molly's often face years of uncertainty, struggling to find answers to their loved ones' symptoms.
