Our Story

In 2009, Rick and Wendi Cross embarked on a life-changing journey to Africa, igniting a passion for adoption and humanitarian work. Their first mission trip to Uganda opened their hearts to the needs of vulnerable children and families. Through their experiences, they founded xHope, Inc., which now encompasses the Redeemer House children’s home in Uganda. This initiative has transformed orphan care into a model focused on rescue, rehabilitation, and family reunification.

Impacting Lives

With a deep commitment to the Ugandan culture and its resilient families, xHope has empowered local communities by providing education and support. The organization has donated 385 Children's Care Kits and secured $1.5 million in funding for programs aimed at vulnerable youth and families. Additionally, 750 Ugandans have benefited from job and education opportunities, fostering a brighter future.
