Our Mission to Combat Food Insecurity

Access to nutritious food is a fundamental human right, and the Wyoming Food For Thought Project is dedicated to ensuring that every child in Natrona and Converse counties has the nourishment they need to thrive. Through innovative programs like the Weekend Food Bags Program, 750 children receive essential meals during weekends and school breaks, alleviating the burden of food insecurity.

Building Community Through Nutrition

Our impact goes beyond just providing meals. The Community Gardens serve as therapeutic spaces where individuals can connect with nature, learn new skills, and enjoy fresh produce. The Free Pantry acts as a lifeline for families and individuals on fixed incomes, ensuring that everyone, from seniors to the disabled, has access to nutritious food.

Supporting Local Entrepreneurs

Through our Shared Commercial Kitchen, small food business owners are given the tools they need to grow and thrive, fostering local entrepreneurship and strengthening the economy. Each initiative is a step towards building a hunger-free community.

Impact Statement

Delivering 8,400 meals per week, the Wyoming Food For Thought Project is committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families.
