Our Story

Twenty-five years ago, the Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation was born from a moment of compassion. After the loss of a beloved dog named Wylie, one of our founders visited the Reno Animal Control facility, where she discovered four dogs facing imminent euthanasia. With determination, she rescued them, and thus began a journey to save countless lives.

Our Impact

Since our inception, thousands of animals have been rescued from certain death, yet millions more remain in shelters, waiting for a chance. The Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation is committed to turning the tide of suffering and death.
