Wylde Center

Our Story

The Wylde Center was founded in 1997 to create opportunities for urban residents to connect with nature. Starting with a community effort to restore a garden in Decatur, Georgia, it has grown into a significant nonprofit organization managing five greenspaces across the Atlanta area.

Impact

Wylde Center is proud to offer one of the largest youth environmental and science education programs in metro-Atlanta, including the Decatur Farm to School program, which engages students in hands-on learning about sustainability.
