World Farmers was founded to create access to opportunities for marginalized communities, particularly immigrant and refugee farmers. Since 1985, the organization has supported farmers from diverse ethnic backgrounds, promoting dignity and community among those from the African Diaspora.
World Farmers has transformed the lives of farmers, enabling them to grow for their families and sell produce at farmers' markets. Participation in markets increased from 6 in 2005 to 40 in 2017, showcasing the success of these dedicated farmers.
