Our Story
Founded in 2010 by Janet Reineck, World Dance for Humanity combines the art of dance with humanitarian efforts to create a vibrant community dedicated to making a difference. What began as a simple dance class has evolved into a powerful movement that supports grassroots projects across the globe, particularly in Rwanda. Since 2013, the focus has been on uplifting 14,000 individuals in 28 rural cooperatives, primarily led by Genocide survivors. These communities, once divided and destitute, are now thriving through agricultural cooperatives that provide essential resources and training.
