Welcome to Workshop 13 Cultural Arts and Learning Center
In 2012, two local artist families, Roc & Pat Goudreau and Chris & Lisa Dimarzio, transformed an abandoned church into a vibrant community arts center in Ware, Massachusetts. With the support of local townspeople, they founded Workshop 13, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the appreciation and accessibility of the arts. Over the years, this initiative has blossomed into a multi-use space featuring three buildings, where creativity thrives through classes, music events, and community collaborations.
Since its inception, Workshop 13 has expanded its reach, partnering with organizations like the Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation to revitalize downtown Ware. The opening of ArtWorks Gallery and ClayWorks Pottery studio in 2019 further solidified its role as a cultural hub. Today, Workshop 13 boasts a dedicated team of teaching artists, contractors, and volunteers, all committed to fostering a love for the arts.
