Founded in 1983 by artists Emily Clark and Jon Millstein, Works in Progress NYC has evolved from Design East into a vital nonprofit organization. With over 30 years of experience, it focuses on providing hands-on internship opportunities for local high school students, fostering community engagement and artistic growth.
Each year, approximately 35 students benefit from our Internship Program, gaining essential skills in printing, graphic design, and customer service. This initiative not only enhances their professional development but also contributes to the growth of the local community.
