Our Story

For over 75 years, the Work Training Center for the Handicapped has been dedicated to aiding adults with disabilities in Butte County. Founded in 1949 in Chico, WTC began with just four clients and one volunteer. Over the decades, it has evolved from a work training center into a comprehensive support organization, adapting to meet the needs of the community.

WTC has successfully supported nearly 200 individuals across multiple locations, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence in both work and leisure activities.
