Our Story

Founded in 1987 by Louise and Doug Brown, Wood to Wonderful began in the Washington, DC suburbs and relocated to Reading, PA in 1997. Initially focused on crafting wooden toys for underprivileged children, the organization has since expanded its mission to enhance the quality of life for deserving children through various community outreach programs.

Impact

Over the years, more than 150,000 wooden toys have been created and distributed to children in need, alongside refurbishing and donating over 500 bikes annually.
