The growing demand for high-quality, nature-based early childhood education led to the establishment of the Almitas Foundation in 2018. As the first state-licensed nature-based preschool in Utah, Wonderbloom draws inspiration from European 'Forest Schools' that emphasize outdoor learning, nurturing kindness towards the earth and each other.
