Founded by Sarah Collins in 2008, the Wonderbag was created to address the energy crisis in South Africa. Inspired by her grandmother's resourceful cooking methods, Sarah's innovative idea of surrounding a pot of hot food with cushions quickly gained traction. The overwhelming response from women highlighted the potential of this simple yet transformative solution to change lives globally.

Impact

The Wonderbag serves as a catalyst for social change, saving women and girls an astonishing 1300 hours each year. This newfound time allows them to pursue education, engage in economic opportunities, and take control of their family's finances by reducing fuel costs and the dangers associated with collecting firewood.
