Our Story

The National Women's Theatre Festival was established to create, produce, and promote extraordinary, inclusive theatre by women and all underrepresented genders. This initiative aims for 100% parity across the theatre industry, fostering a diverse community of theatre artists and audience members.

Impact

Since 2016, the National Women's Theatre Festival has produced 23 mainstage productions, 58 fringe shows, 145 staged readings, and 225 workshops, significantly enhancing the representation of underrepresented voices in theatre.
