Our Story

Founded in 1978 by a dedicated group of citizens, Women’s Protective Services of Lubbock, Inc. addresses the urgent issue of domestic violence in the community. With a commitment to education, shelter, and support services, WPS has evolved significantly, moving into a dedicated facility in 1999 that houses 24 apartments for women and children in need.
