Our Story
In the early 2000s, as the tech industry flourished, women faced significant barriers to entry and advancement. Recognizing this disparity, female members of Congress, particularly from Silicon Valley, united to form the Women's High-Tech Coalition (WHTC). This initiative aimed to create a supportive network for women in tech, providing essential speaking platforms and fostering connections that bridge the gap between policy and technology. Today, WHTC continues to collaborate with Congress, industry leaders, and associations to empower women, ensuring their voices are heard in the evolving tech landscape.
