Our Story

Founded in 1992, Womens Economic Ventures (WEV) is dedicated to supporting women in achieving economic self-sufficiency through entrepreneurship. At a time when women faced significant barriers to accessing funding and resources, WEV emerged to change the narrative, promoting women’s entrepreneurship as a pathway to independence and success.

Impact

For every dollar raised, WEV returns $15 to the community, enhancing local economies and creating jobs. Over the past five years, WEV has assisted 2,100 businesses, sustaining an estimated 6,000 jobs.
