Our Story
Women Sharing Hope has a rich history that spans over 60 years, beginning with a dedicated group of women in Whatcom County who formed the St. Joseph Hospital Sarah Debra Auxiliary. This group hosted the annual Sarah Deborah Ball charity event, which laid the foundation for future endeavors. In 1999, the organization evolved into Women Helping Others, and in 2004, it became Women Sharing Hope. Since then, volunteers have tirelessly worked to raise over $1,000,000 for women and children in the community. The annual Champagne Luncheon and Handbag Auction has been a cornerstone of fundraising efforts for over 21 years, showcasing the commitment to empowering women and children in Whatcom County.
