Founded by Aline Binyungu and Clement Shabani, both refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Women's Refugee Care (WRC) was established in 2016 to support refugee families in the U.S. WRC understands the unique challenges faced by newcomers and is dedicated to helping them become self-sufficient while honoring their cultural identities.
