About Women In Need

Founded in 1983, Women In Need (Win) began as a shelter for four homeless women and their children. Today, Win is the largest provider of shelter and supportive housing for homeless families in New York City, operating 16 shelters and over 450 supportive housing units.

Impact

Last year, Win served over 10,300 homeless individuals, including more than 5,600 children, and successfully helped over 890 families transition into permanent homes.
